when my mate matt had his crash the mirror flew off and broke, we have sourced a second hand one. we need to know how the mirror is attached to the base plate that is screwed to the head lining. is it stuck or what?

need to find the serial number off my mates engine so he can register his new shell. is it the one on the front of the block near the gearbox end?
