Is it bad to clean my car every night?

It is vital to polish else it will go a yelllow cream colour. You need to create a good base to put the wax onto. Don't worry about removing any paint as it is such a small amount. I am glad it went well! Meguiars last touch might be a good idea if you want to get bugs off. If I am feeling lazy...

Is it bad to clean my car every night?

Polishing you car removes very little paint / clearcoat. Usually a car which has been resprayed would have much thicker paint than out the factory, normally about 300 microns. When polishing by hand you will be luck if you can remove 2 microns so extremely little. Obviously you don't have to...

    Admiral Insurance

I'm with admiral. Had my last car with them as well, always helpful, their call centre is abroad but they are pretty good, ring up for quotes quite often and never a problem. I'd say they are ok.

    Wrote off my Ek9

Hmm admiral you say. That seems like a low first offer!! Well, kind of expected. I am insured with them at the minute. Seems a good deal buying it back for £400 though, what a steal! Do you have to pick it up from them or will they deliver?

A little trip to Cornwall to get my ek9

I stayed there. Stayed in the Blau Varadero was pretty nice, good food etc and all inclusive! They love the rum out there! I liked the beer "Cristal" nice and light, perfect for sitting on the beach. If you want a tip, take your own jug/cup for drinks as they only give you shitty plastic cups...

    Clio 172 - opinions

Right... I used to own a 182 so I might be able to help a bit! The deal with the rear brakes is that the wheel bearing is built into the disk, you can replace the whole lot or have your bearings pressed into the disk, they aren't that expensive. Cambelt is the main thing to check, should be...

    Meguiars Dual Action Polisher?

They are pretty easy to use. It's basically the same as hand polishing but you obviously do alot more in a lot less time. If you are wary just take your time and do light passes, with a light cut pad and polish. I bought mine about 6 months ago and have used it a few times on different cars and...

    Cam covers.

Very nice work! Are you going to be offering your service to ek9 members? Is it an exchange basis or just buy it and fit it?

    DC5 brakes

They use 300mm discs so you would need 16" wheels. Other than that I wouldn't know much else. I'd imagine it wouild be possible with the right bracket machined up.

Chemical Guys - Citrus Wash & Gloss

Hyperwash Hyperwash is the best shampoo I have used in a while. Gallon of it is around £30 but this will last you forever ha. I bought mine early last year and don't think I have even used a litre yet. It dilutes down at about 400:1 so it's very good and you get good suds. Worth while...

    EK9 wanted

You're trying to pay pittance for a highly specced looked after car, it isn't going to happen. You will have to compromise somewhere if you want one for under 5k. Why don't you save up a little more and get a mint example which will probably cost / loose you less in the long run?
