EG civic K-swap inside


So got some more parts in got the ktuned radiator relocation kit to the passenger side and 6an fuel line kit and some other coolant hoses!



K tuned parts are amazing quality love the radiator bracket for EG



Last of all fitted my K-tuned oil cooler hoses and Fuel rail that I bought off @Mattyssb





Can't wait to put my engine in the bay to see it all coming together! Would have been this weekend but I'm on call and got a engine to put in a EK9 aswell!

Just read through this as I've never clicked it. Good build and now with the k swap it's getting better, maybe because I love k tuned parts, especially the shifter, pure automotive engineering porn.

Did you get rid of the motor co rocker cover or would you be selling it at all ?

Yeah man shifter is pure porn hopefully get that fitted today :)

Still got it man keeping it as a last momento to B-series haha
 
So at the weekend I decided to put my engine in to make it look like I'm making progress haha so here are a few pics!







Getting this thing running is on the horizon all I need to get it running is K-pro, fuel pressure regulator and conversion harness cannot wait excitement is building
 
Just read through the thread, and your eg looks hard as nails on the black RPF1's mate :drool:
Also amazed at how far your cash has stretched on that k swap!
 
Small update!

So got my shifter all plumbed in and just have to tidy up the hole where the cables come through bulkhead!

Also fitted my radiator brackets to relocate to the passenger side looks so oem!

That's about it so far almost finished my break lines aswell will get pice up when they are done they look pretty cool!

Hoping to get the car running in the next week or two so hopefully goes to plan







(Please ignore cable tied round radiator was a quick solution to tegiwa a awful fan clips)

And also got myself a new summer runaround in the form of a JDM vxi del sol :)

Out of everything on the car that what I get the most "change that belt" haha I will get a new one for startup time

Didn't realise this was now K20'd. Love the car, best of luck with it mate, hopefully see it about during the year.

ps: i watched a video on a first page, where you went out of the track..
few observations what YOU CAN NOT DO ON A TRACK!!!
1) YOU CAN NOT USE A RACING SEAT-BELT WITHOUT ROLL CAGE (why? because when you're crashing all the body panels/roof and so on will go closer to you, but your body will be stuck in a race seat with belts on.. when it is a standard seat belt, your body after crash can move to sides ;)

2) NEVER RACE A CAR WITH OPEN WINDOWS (why, simply during the crash you can loose your arm.. or a head, but that is more difficult to do :) you can race with open windows only when you are having a roll cage and a safety net to keep your body parts inside :)

DRIVE SAFELY!!!
 
So after being out in @LoganK s ep3 I've decided I really need a diff! So seeing as it's my birthday next week my gf decided to give me money towards one so I went for one I knew was good and I liked driving the car with I went for another spoon 1.5 way picked it up very cheap but without vss drive and ring gear bolts but they can be easily sourced :)
