EK9 Racecar

I'd say your car will love it when on , alot nicer with the filter and rare bit of kit too , not to mention pricey

I'm sure it will :)) I'm looking forward to getting it fitted nicely. Yeh they can be expensive, I got mine with the Toda so managed to get a bit of a deal.

Lucky bugger! I have a maxim works header 4.2.1 to fit and I'm also looking forward to fitting mine , same as a toda , just not in name

I've just been lazy but I will in a week or so .
All the best :nice:

Hoses and a few fitting parts ready for tomorrow:))
Going to be a good weekend.
Also resprayed the sump as it was off.

Got it all fitted today :)) so happy with all the parts.

I've mounted the ARC a different way to how I've seen them mounted before. Used a nice cotton real mount with a bracket.
Fits nicely in the gap behind the headlight.

Mmmm Toda

Toda looks amazing.....ARC looks mean!

Great work, bet you can't wait to get her back out on the road or are you waiting for Spring?

Got 3mnths engine and gear box warranty so need to put some miles on her.....and im not complaining!.....just on the dry days where i can mind....tyres are summer/trackday spec really

Cant fit her in the garage as too many motorbikes and other ****, got plans in with the council to make the garage bigger :nice:
So the forward plan is to get a Dinitrol re-fresh/ top up towards the end of next autumn and she'll be tucked away next winter...

Ah cool best get some miles on her then while the warranty is valid :))
Yeh get the garage extended so she can get inside in the dry.

Small update - I went out last weekend for a little photo session with the 9 at Honda HQ. Turns out I was an IDIOT and left the SD card out of the camera :megusta:

Anyway when I was on my way home I developed a misfire, so pulled over and had a quick look under the bonnet. I thought the Spoon HT Leads looked a bit suspect, with a quick wiggle and a electric shock to boot! that confirmed my problem. So new set of plugs and silicone HT leads from Tegiwa sorted the misfire.

And also I am booked in at Eurospec on the 28th of January for a P28 and dyno tune :)) can't wait!!!

I really liked them spoon leads, could you see any issue's with them ? Can't wait to see the results from the P28.

Fairly important piece of hardware.......
Glad you got the misfire sorted, bet she gave a kick!

Looking forward to results....:please:

Yeh so did I! Yeh I could see that the insulation had gone on one of the leads, so the Spark was jumping out the lead to Earth on the rocker cover. I thought about getting some more Spoon, but they're £200 .

Yeh it's pretty essential, no spark no go!
Yeh she gave a good belt  I'm glad it was something simple though :nice:
I shall post results and pictures of the dyno. Have a good Christmas everyone!
