Lex's Ek9 k20 Race Base

Yeah that seems to be the issue with using the dc5 pump, I'm looking at maybe running electric hydraulic or something like that hidden somewhere, it would be a lot easier to just run no PAS tho tbh.

When I looked before people were using a Toyota mr2 pump. It's honestly not too bad without it

Haha thanks a lot mate appreciate it :thanks:

It's a work of art buddy. Love it! My friend just has the dc5 shifter box and it doesn't do the car justice.

A friend of mine has the stock dc5 shifter in his k swap dc2, I can understand why people use them don't get me wrong they do the job required, I'm just terrible with money and aiming for the prettier look so went for this one. Its by far my favourite part of the car, it sounds bent but there's something really pleasing about something that's been machined and designed well

Nothing bent about it... High quality machined pieces of metal make me very happy!! Just ashame the gypsy fab stuff I make myself is more f*ck it that will do lol

Far from bent, I feel the same way about the k tuned shifters, they're beautiful and I can't wait to own one. Definitely will be my first purchase for my K swap

I'm glad you guys agree haha. A lot of my friends aren't into cars so they don't really understand the joy of something that's been through a lot of r&d let alone the cost of the thing. They think I'm mad

spent the day with the car yesterday, fuel lines are nearly finished I just need to buy the anodized black fuel filter and a fitting or two, fuel pump is done after some messing, the throttle cable and all that guff are sorted... going to try and get it to mimms in some sort of fashion, it might not be 100% but I'll try to make it there.

Got some more done on the fuelling side of things, got all the bits needed to finish it off I just need to find time to do it, then it's on to battery relocation and once thats done I should be able to fire it up

Iv comented on this wayyy too much but my god what a car love it. You must be so prowd of it man

comment away bud it's all good, I'm glad people like it, even tho a build is for yourself no one likes to be shot down.

I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh, gods honest truth. Some days I love it, some days I think I'm losing interest and I should break it and get another car.

Hopefully when I get it driving I will love it, otherwise it won't last long, and my friends will murder me too haha

Don't break it, would be a waste, all that time and money you've spent on it.

Will all be worth it as soon as you've got it on the road, I feel the same about mine with its endless problems but as soon as I drive it I love it all over again despite its bad points that will be sorted.

I'd be happy if this was my car to tell you the truth.

Don't get me wrong it will be a runner, it's too close to done for it not to be, but if it doesn't win my interest with the drive it will be broken and sold off because the price of kswap cars these days has fallen through the floor and no one would pay me what I'd want for it complete

Agree on price drops, you will love it, if not i'll buy that shifter off you haha
Are all the K swap parts brand new or used ? I cant seem to find any parts whatsoever used .

Fuel lines are all in, but play was cut short as I got called away, I'll be sorting the battery re location stuff this week and hopefully get that done on a day off next week.

I've recently been blessed with a new lens for my camera so any excuse.....

This continues to get better and better! So close now man, keep it up.

After all your time and hard work it would be horrible to see you break it:( but, IF you do hit me up pal!

I'll get it done no doubt. I have a day off tomorrow and I'm really hoping I can get more done, there are some bits I will be reliant on other for.... like the remaining wiring that needs doing on the rywire loom because it isn't all direct fit, electrics are definitely not my bag.
