Well lads hoping someone can help me out and shed some light on this I recently put an airbag wheel in my 1999 ek4 sir obd2 and the srs light has stayed on I ran the fault and came up 21-2 which I believe to be passenger seat belt tensioner? I removed the ground on the battery in an effort to clear the fault but has not worked. Anyone have this problem themselves and changed the belt tensioner? I don't think if I change it that it will clear the fault but any help appreciated

You just need to reset your srs system, simple it's same as when you jump the cel for codes,

If you put your airbag wheel back on because you had a srs light on the dash ,i have some resistors that will fix that very easy

It is back in man I need it sorted for nct Friday so need it fixed ASAP, how do the resistors work?

All you need to do is reset the system. It's not difficult to do, they is a guide on civiclife.

Resistor is put in on the yellow air bag wire and makes the system work as normal, now for your srs light ,look at your fuse box in dash ,up on the right top corner you will see a yellow wire ,it's in a blank ,pull it out get a wire into one side ,now get ready to put/pull the other end into the other side ok, 1 put both ends of wire into plug 2 turn on acc when you see the srs light flash take one wire out ,3 when you see it back on put wire back in, the srs system will flash two times ,and your done ,
Might take you few go's but that all there is to it
