Hi all, I'm currently rebuilding my Ek9, I've removed the RTA's and stripped them down to be powder coated and fitted with all new parts including hubs.

Brand new OEM Ek9 hubs are very expensive and I'd have much more choice of wheels if it was 4x100.

How easy is it to convert to 4x100? I can get brand new hubs for a good price but obviously the ek9 discs won't fit. Would I be better off buying a suspension setup from a Ej9 for example and selling my ek9 setup?

But, then there's also issues with brake disc and calliper sizes that fit?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Hi! For this you need a pivot arm 4 * 100. Next, You must install a support from the Accord marked 16cl15vn and brake disk Bosch 0986479476 282*25mm. I installed brake support with Honda NSХ. This setup I use to race ring.
PS suport brake 16cl15 and NSХ installed on the bolt on.

Stick with 5 stud.

An EK9 with 4 stud doesn't look right, just makes it look like a rep.

Rare wheels come up in 5x114.3 - 15" come up a lot more often than any 4x100 wheels!

Good wheels r15 4 * 100 is also rare. I for 2 years bought two sets of light wheels for race.

I have 4 studs from the factory. But if I can make the brakes on Ek9, I do not see problems. The next year will move to 5 stud R17 wheels :)

Thanks everyone for your input! I've decided to stay 5x114.3 and will continue to hunt down a set of 15" TE37's or similar:)

The conversion isn't hard to do if you did want to!

For the front - just grab SIR style 4x100 hubs and upright (the drive shaft will slip in fine) and then redrill the rotor to 4x100 and machine the caliper mounting bracket.
For the rear - just grab SIR style 4x100 hubs and trailing arm, bolt it in, buy a 2001-2004 4x100 262mm rotor and then bolt on along with the original caliper.

The 4x100 conversion isn't actually uncommon for the EK9. It happened regularly in the Japanese EK one make series. Yes there are more wheel options available (5x114 15 inch wheels are a pain to find!) and the wheels are quicker to change with only 4 studs. There is no major disadvantage in doing this modification and its a shame that the EK9 never got the larger outer CV (much stronger for racing) like the 98 spec ITR did.

Thanks for all the info @tysonzane, much appreciated!

Luckily I found a set of staggered TE37s in 15" 5x114.3 so I'm not converting anymore:)

Thanks everyone for the advice!
