Ok so my lenses are looking pretty old, tired and covered in stress marks, honestly not willing to spend upwards of £500 on some new lights, just wondering if I am able to put some ej9 lenses on the ek9 lights? Would be a cheap way of bringing them back to life if it's possible :)

Dont see why not, may be worth trying to sand them down and polish back up though? If your going to swap the lenses anyways you may as well try the whole restoration process :)

It's a really good idea but make sure you seal them well as moisture will get in.

Anyone else know if this would work? Couple of the tabs are broken on one of the lights so I am now thinking just buy ej lights and put the ek9 insert in them, just don't want to waste money for them not to fit

I tried to clean them up but are covered in small cracks and beyond repair

The part numbers on the lenses are the same on ek4 and ek9's so I would assume an ej9 lense would also be the same.

Thanks, I never thought about checking part numbers, do you know if the housing is the same part number?

I would imagine the only variation in the housings would be if they are electrically adjustable or not. Other than that I would say they will be identical.

Yeah that's the only difference I know of, don't think that would be a major problem though would it?maybe he motor could be taken off and they could be adjusted manually?

Not sure of you would end up needing to replace more things. Would be best just to try get a manual or automatic headlight. Whatever you require

I would need manual ones but from what I can gather there is none going about, people tell me they are rare but I starting to doubt that they even exist lol

The housings them selves are different, I thought about retrofitting the electric parts from my normal lights to my EK9 ones and it isn't worth the hassle.
