Hi,

Time to upgrade my engine mounts and checking for best options. Hasport are known to be one of the best around and also relatively pricey.

Found these on ebay at quite a reasonable price. I know that when something is too good to be true it usually is but these are so tempting.....is there a way I can tell if these are original or fake? Of course I could ask the seller but the seller is going to tell me they are original of course.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Too easy

Fake/reps.

Hasport themselves don't annodise their mounts having just looked at their webpage store, they stick with the machined finish and change the rubber insert depending on it's rating.
If you look at the 4th picture, the further right mount's etching looks a tad funny aswell, and the font for the furthest left mount looks weird.

In his description he describes them as a performance mount kit too.

Great thanks....knew it was too good to be true but no harm in dreaming is it :x:

Don't think they are worth the money then....i think i'd rather try finding a good 2nd hand set then go for fake mounts....

I did some more searching and hasport do sell annodised mounts. I still think they're fake though - the first and the second picture should be gold mounts, but one is yellow, other is gold?

All seems a little strange to me!

Yeah most probably they are....will stay away from them.

I'd take a look at the Innovative mounts we sell. The finish in terms of machining quality is far superior. It's borderline too good for our industry if that makes sense.
