Hi, I’ve been a long time reader on here and finally decided to post up my current project. Not sure if it’ll be up your street or not!

I took this EK9 in part exchange for my S2000. I previously had a 98 Spec DC2 and missed it so much when this was offered I thought it would be perfect.

The first job was to give it a good service and machine polish.

I still had my Regas left over from when I had my DC2 so decided to get some new Bridgestones and put them on the car.

The ride height didn’t seem to be sitting quite right in my eyes, when I tried to adjust the coilovers found they were completely seized no matter what me or my mate tried to do haha! The decision was made to put some new MeisterR Zeta S Coilovers on along with some Function7 LCAs. I was then able get the ride height perfect in my eyes. A couple of additions such as a genuine First Moulding front lip, some amber side repeaters, Circuit Hero gear knob and tow hook and a good engine bay clean and Spooner Restorations camcover were added. Also it was given a good machine polish it try and get it as glossy as possible. This brings it up to date! I’m now waiting for my J’s Racing exhaust manifold and cat back to turn up!

That's lovely, and looks really fresh, I doubt there are any members here who wouldn't like it

Really nice Ek9.
The paint looks to be in great condition.
Best of luck with her.

The nicest ek9 I've seen, I had white rega's on a white ek4 and didn't really like it, they suit your car so well! Simple and clean, looks class!! :nice:

Thanks for the comments! It's J's Racing blue on the cam cover. My J's mani turned up yesterday so I need to get polishing that!

I would like to spray my engine up silver to get it mint, but I can't think of a way of doing it without removing it!

wouldnt mind doing my calipers that colour, do you have a paint code for it, you would need to take the engine out id say or degrease it and take manifold and rad out and get a bit of space in the bay to spray it up

Looks like a good job. Out of interest what polish did you use?
