Preface lift or facelift?

Hi I'm Simon, new to this site and was hoping for people's opinions.

I have just put a deposit down at a import company for a ek9 and there are lots of preface lift models for sale but is it worth holding out for the facelift model? Thanks.
 
Pre-facelift FTW! It's all personal preference really! A mint pre-facelift would be very nice!

Good luck with your purchase, which company are you using?
 
If you want a F/L hold out and wait but as said already it's down to personal preference.

Saying that I prefer the preface lift and I got a facelift.
 
I think pre facelifts are meaner! But as stated its personal preference! :)
 
There are no real differences in spec, few extra goodies on the facelift, mainly the Rx.

As said above, it's just down to personal preference. I had a pre-facelift and wanted a facelift, then I had a facelift and wanted a pre-facelift. Now I have neither and I want both :run:
 
Cheers guys for the advise. I am using a company called Torque Gt which I have had some really good reviews.
Think I am going to hold out for facelift model

Each to their own! Good luck! I've heard only good things about them! Hope you can undo the wait for a fresh import, a lot of long sleepless nights if it was me!
 
They seem pretty decent if I am honest.
Do you really think importing a car is that bad then ryan?
 
No! It's justvthe wait I couldn't cope with, if you've got a good company importing it I'm sure ther s nothing to worry about...I'm just too impatient!
 
I literally just went threw the same thing in two weeks mine will arrive at port in Canada.

I wanted a facelift but I got a pre facelift instead because of condition I couldn't pass on it. but i think the pre facelift bumper will be easier to clean :)
 
I prefer facelift models.
Good luck and wait is worth a while as its very hard to find a clean one here now a days.
 
They haven't found me anything yet apart from a couple facelift models but they go over my budget in the auction.
 
My budget is a tad far off the 10k mark, I have 8k to play with and I am slowly giving up hope if I am honest
