K20 EG Track Car.

Few minor bits done this weekend.. moved my rad fan to drivers side away from the intake as it wasnt helping my intake temps. Finished up mounting the splitter and quick release catches for the front bumper... rep Spoon spoiler fitted for now as I think I'll be fitting a BGW in the near future...

Took it for a spin and all seem well, splitter seems stable at high speed... new tyres feel good and the resulting shorter gearing makes it rip even harder.

Good news on the splitter. 12mm it is then!

I've got stabilisers so hopefully will be ok.

That's looking wicked mate and goes very well, you must be chuffed with it...

Here is a vid from the day in high comp B18c CRX racecar if you skip to 5 mins or so, we have a little battle for a few laps, gives a good comparison of b18 v k20.

Sounds epic!
I know it's hard to tell but can you feel any difference from having the splitter on?

I believe so... its kinda feels like having p/s back.... the turn in at speed is alot sharper taking less affort on the wheel... altho this could be down to the new tyres which I fitted at the same time... I think the splitter really needs to be around 60mm at least with suitable support, which I may try if i get chance.

A trackday at Cadwell would show up its potential more as I've been round there without it last yr...

Shame I can't get time to make one up for brands.
Sounds like you've noticed something though which is positive.

The father of the one of the guys in the CRX's took some cool on track shots...

This is now for sale, at a slightly reduced spec... check out my ad in Cars for sale on here...
