Hi lads,

Anyone used stoptech brake discs? Any reviews or horror stories?

Cheers!

Thanks but you would say that as you sell them! Haha!

Any real world experiences?

Mtec brake discs are very good,i have a set drilled/grooved

I have Stoptech pads and if the discs are as good as the pads they should be great

Ive gone for brembo blanks for my build, from experience in the past and other peoples reviews they are of good quality and rarely crack.

At less than £60 they are good value imo

thanks for the input everyone!

Good, but expensive.
We resell Mtec (cheaper than direct) and they're Good, but cheaper :)
Depends what you want from a disc...? And what pads you're using on them.

will probably have a mild pad, and will be using spoon calipers. I'm only looking into grooved discs as i need to get new discs anyway!

I'm with freaky, I'd say 98% of discs out there are perfectly fine for OEM-Fast road pads with usual fast road usage.

Pad choice and usage do play a huge part. Although, I'd go with MTEC's because they withstand the heat well and are almost disposal at the price when looking towards the likes of endless, project mu or even Stoptech.

I've been running the same set of MTECs on my race car for 3 seasons now and they're still doing fine. Used DS2500s and CL RC5s on them and they're still going
