B16 swap on Friday!!

I'm having a b16a2 swap in my Ej9 on Friday, which I am super excited about. I really wanted a b16b or b18c but I don't have the money and I have owned the car for three years now so sort of getting bored 1.4 now :) .
I don't no were to start on the engine once it's swapped not sure if I should just tidy it up or make it faster?
 
Not a lot you can do without spending lots to make it more powerful. I'd start with some breathing mods to make the car more enjoyable.
 
Yeah I'd be going for the usual breathing mods just to get the most out of it just now, good luck with the swap
 
Sorry So by breathing you guys mean, Air filter, Exhaust, Etc?

Yeah Thank you, I am super excited. Been waiting for a long time. I will update on here a bit more on here now. This site is so handy...
 
About time! Yeah breathing mods like air filter you might wanna get the dc2 oem one simple but effective! get a full custom exhaust system and a decent exhaust manifold if you want to stretch more Of your budget!
 
Nice! Do you have all parts?
Remember to change the timming belt, waterpump and tension Wheel on the old engine :) . And only juse Honda MTF3 gearbox oil.

If you like to get more power out of your engine, then start with som air-intake (the best is Mugen, and Price is not low), a good exhaust header 2.5" (Toda or replica header), decat and catback 2.5". I can recormend Fujitsubo RMA01 catback, i got 6.5 HP, before i had Invidia 2.5"
Then i will say you are making at least 180+ hp.

MichaelEK9DK Has pretty much covered everything there the rma01 is quiet tho thats all id disagree with haha

Thank you! I have looked at mugen exhausts they are really expensive but I'd rather save for stuff like that than stick a load of cheap stuff on it :)
I have everything for engine swap plus a ek9 power steering pump. I friend of mine who rallyes honda is doing the swap. I have a build thread but I'm not 100% if I am doing it right. I am so useless at using the internet. And since I don't have Facebook either I seriously somewere for advice/help haha!!

I don't like the Mugen cat back with twin loop boks. this side or ebay is good for exhaust, and mugen air-box.
We made a test with mugen air-box on B16A2. 8 hp and 12/13 nm ! That's power :D ..

I will look into buying one them.
Were is best to find one?
It's a pretty low milage engine at 96k so hopefully it hasn't lost many ponies haha.

You can find them , in this side "for sale" . Or ebay.
Approx Price is 250-400£ . so they are not cheap :) .

Sounds like a good engine ;) You will be very happy vs your D14 ;)
