Championship White UKDM DC2

Thanks a lot for the kinds words guys! :)

The next thing on the list is a full re-bush quimbasher, I've changed the main ones but I want to give it a big overhaul next year at some point!

A quick update about the wheels. They are now on and the car is setup how I want it, they do look better in person so hope the pictures capture it ok :)

The tyres are unreal compared to the Toyo's, it's going to take some getting used to but really enjoying them so far.

I had the tracking done today as it was way out and pulling to the left, also painted my calipers soft silver as the gold on gold wasn't a good look.

I need a new steering gator as I noticed mine has a small tear but will replace that shortly!

Just a quick update about the car, it's now off the road and I have a little 1.0 Yaris to travel around in over winter!

I have managed to pick up a Gen2 Mugen intake from Hoho (Thanks again mate!) and started cleaning up the OEM intake and buying the bolts ect so I can install it tomorrow.

I'll let the pictures do the talking but I should have a MK1 AEM long arm intake up for sale soon!

I've ordered a replacement Mugen sticker and cleaned up the filter and housing as well :)

Looking forward to fitting it tomorrow!

Cheers,

James

No real updates for the car, other than it's off the road for winter and tucked up under a car cover on my drive

The only down side is I am using a 1.0ltr Yaris for the daily duties haha

I'll also be going Nurburgring from the 4th to the 10th of June this year, which I can't wait for!

I will be joining the Audi sport forum for a rolling road in April at AMD performance.

Looking to get a new manifold before the rolling road and was thinking the Tegiwa Toda rep? Any opinions from people who have switched from a 96spec manifold?

Thanks for reading,

James

I like this simply cos its the same but different ha if that makes sense :))

Awesome looking Teg dude, so clean!

Just wondering where you got the USDM indicators from?

I took the DC2 out from hibernation on Sunday and went for a drive and some pictures.

Ended up being out for 5 hours, and here are some of the pictures:

Just a quick update on the DC2, I traveled up to see Micky to pick up a pristine UKDM bonnet from him. I managed 342 miles on one tank so very happy with that!

I got it home and tested it out, then gave it a quick polish!

It needs fresh paint as the colour match isn't 100% perfect, but I will ask TGM to do it later in the year :)

I actually received another bonnet, but it was delivered damaged. I am giving away so if any one is intrested, please get in contact!

Yesterday I had a rolling road planned with a few friends from the Audi sport forum.

As you can see, it made 204.1bhp and 140.1lb-ft! Very happy with the results :)

After that, I drove in to London for some nightime photography and didn't get back until 4AM haha

That is utterly stunning with the gold wheels. I've owned a 96' JDM, but always wanted a UK car for that front.

Never sell it, it's ace.

Thank you for such an awesome comment mate, after being back on the 98specs for a while I can't wait to switch back to the Enkei's!

Nice figures mate, is that remapped or running the standard ECU?

Cheers man! It's running standard ECU at the moment, only mods to the engine are intake and exhaust.

:win: your car is perfect
Wow, thank you very much mate! :)

Still looking magnificent!

Once the exhaust mani is fitted, I'd get it mapped!

Hey Guys,

Just a quick update on this as I have been meaning to post about my trim to the Nurburgring in June, but still need to finish off the pictures/video so will post a full write up shortly! It was the trip of a lifetime and will be going back next year for sure! :)

Just one picture of mine on the Ring for now! I'll get the full post finished by the end of the week.

I've decided to refresh the front end and finally fit Mick's old bonnet that is rust free! So that meant buying new bolts for the front end, plus badges..

In the time since I've been back, I had my steering wheel refurbished by Royal Steering wheels and it has come up amazingly!

Currently it's off at the bodyshop being resprayed, but I stripped down the front and cleaned and replaced what I could in the last few weeks! I also changed a electric motor in the headlight for the adjusters, as my passanger side had failed.

Thanks for reading!
