My ej9 Runaround

Went with one the lads to Mallow the other day cos he was gonna pick up a fresh shell for a conversion.

So went up to look at this ej9 i put it through its pases and so did he couldnt fault it bar a few scratches.

Engine is rediculously healthy and so dry!!! So i drove it back to his an then told him if he was sellin it id buy it as a runaround. Sure enough next day she was mine So far i love it

The bird that owned it was a tramp tho!!!!!! The seats are destroyed from her ridin in it the back seats the roof the and the front have actually been rocked out of the rails.... Im pretty sure if i picked up a young wan in this shed get pregnant from sittin in the seat

So i deep cleaned it today (just the inside and the boot)

My god!! it was filthy took 4 an a half hours Found a ball of weed in the back among other things......

Found a full set of clothes a christmass tree potting turf an some sandles in the boot

But other than that shes very tight on the road and in good nick two keys an very healthy.

As for mods the plans are

: Darkened headlights

: Hids Ordered

: Fogs DONE

: Lips front an back Ordered

: Alloys an tyres DONE

: Sterio and new speakers DONE

: Mid spoiler DONE

: Tilt top spoiler or get cheap bomex one? DONE

: Lower it bout 60-80 mm DONE

: Catback exhaust DONE (Straight pipe from mani)

: New seats just for peace of mind DONE

: Tint Windows a different colour (next couple of weeks)

Should be good craic

An i had the bumper off looking for rust so need to put it back on properly found none thankfully

Gonna drop it up to one of the lads durin the week to get the carpet wet an dry vacuumed.

So got board yesterday an took off the front of the car to split the headlights and the fuckin headlights wouldnt fit in the oven

So had to all go back on again good thing its easy to do

Also went at changin the rear speakers and was puzzled to find the original 6x9s.

Ha never seen them before especially in a civic

Have a Bomex spoiler on the way today and my mid spoiler is there too.

But its pissin rain again!!!!! so that fucks that

Got new wipers and none of the shops in town have moible1 oil so il have to wait till next week to service it













Engine bay is filthy

Was Sunny enough today so service this was in bad need!!!

Oil was black An i think superman put the sump bolt on or it was never taken off hahaha

Tried to clean some of the engine bay with degreser but didnt have the patience to finish it so i set up my radio an speakers instead.

Got a bomex spoiler always wanted one of these for my ek4 but never got round to it :'-(







Had my Blue/Purple Ek4 SiR spoiler there so decided to spray em up.













Had these 6x9s bought new about 2 years ago or more an never used em there great!!!!

I seen some vids on youtube where some guys have mega low offset wide rims. 10000bhp. Is that what u got? Where u get it from?!

Somethin like that ya man you need a flashed xbox an then you have to download the game to pc and mod it with a program it took alot of fiddling but i got there eventually Any car you want done?

Finally got my spoilers sprayed properly




I have a good few bits here for the car but i want to nct it first before i put them on.

Plans :

Slam it
Tint Windows a different colour
Full exhaust system
Front an rear splitter
Grill
Window strip
Hids
Fogs
White or midnight purple wheels
Spoon mirrors

Bits i have for it

Facelift rear lights
Gear extension
Mugen shifter
Jap recess
Jap Plates (ordered)
Blue wheel nuts

Also got perfect SiR seats off Steven Keating on here fair play to ya man

Made some difference when i took out the old seats the rails fell off the two of them

Got my mid spoiler on as well the car is manky here

So my door handle broke haha bit of a balls









Replaced the Ps belt and the fan belt as the fan belt was noisin an i may as well do the ps while its off.

Changed the plugs as well they had seen better days





New ones





An put my jap pressed plates an recess on








Dont have any good pics as it was too dark when i fitted the recess.

I sprayed a spare grill i had black as well looks the job i think i couldnt stand the chrome.









Gonna take off the badges put on my back lights and wash it durin the week an i might have an exhaust got

Gonna try darken my headlights durin the week too

Must book it in for test too so i can put my coilovers in

Anybody know anyone that Tints windows cheaply?

Car badly needs to be lowered but have to do nct first still waitin on a date for one

Mad to put an exhaust on it as well and a proper intake as one thats on it is doin more harm then good i think ha

Sound lads I put up a thread on facebook lookin for one and within an hour i got offered 4 haha.

If you want you can get carbonfibre ones off McG brand new cos thats what i was gonna do to my old ek4 SiR
