Your opinions on proper tracking system to low the cost of insurance? Have read good reviews about mtrack as it does not require to ran cables etc.

All suggestions are welcome.
 
Not sure about lowering the cost of insurance, as a typical trackers yearly subscription will be more than the saving you would make! Kind of a false economy... I would definitely recommend one for anti theft/stolen vehicle recovery though!
 
You would be unlikely to see any financial benefit from fitting a device. For example if we installed the Trafficmaster product it would be £299 for the device and then £140 per year subscription. I would be surprised if your insurer would give more than £100 pa discount. Also bear in mind that should you report the theft you would be locked out of self tracking even if you had paid for the service (this is with an insurance approved device with a SOC).
 
There are some vehicles where a tracker is expected/required by insurers - typically high value prestigious models. Fitting one on a vehicle where it is not a requirement is unlikely to see you getting much of a reduction, if any. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
