Bought a 300mm wilwood 4 pot kit for the car and over winter it's going for more roll cage, some stitch welding and prep to do some racing next year.

Awesome man. Hope the trip when without any mishaps.

Which racing series you thinking about doing? Time Attack?

Didn't miss a beat over the trip, done 1,400miles roughly. Wheel bearing is abit dodgy on the front now but apart from that it done great!

Going to have a go at Vtec challenge next year, maybe have a go at time attack the year after, see how my lap times are.

I'm hoping to do Time Attack at some stage myself. Big step to make from doing track days to racing events.

The additional cage work to help stiffen the car or to comply with the racing regulations of Vtec challenge ?

The cage work is just to help stiffen the car some more, the cage I have now meets the regulations. Having gussets on the A and B pillars, extending through to the firewall to the shock towers and just having a few extra strength bars added. I'll be having the engine bay stitch welded at the same time.

Intrested in this Vtec challenge, i was going to aim for superlap Scotland next year but might look at other options.

Picked up my Wilwood 300mm superlite 4pot kit tonight, can't wait to get these on and see the difference!

Yeah I was surprised when I picked them up for the first time, there a huge weight difference compared to a Oem caliper, especially the ep3 ones is have on the car now. Hopefully they'll give a fair but more braking performance on the track too! :nice:

Hi man, what's your plans for the ep3 calipers that were on? If your thinking of selling them then let me know as my KDC2 would benefit from a brake upgrade or do you think they weren't up to scratch?

I have just sent you a message about my calipers mate :nice:

Not done anything to the car recently accept get the wilwood brake kit on.

Going to try and tidy the car up as much as possible for South mimms this weekend. Maybe get another track day in this year, see how it goes. Started to pick up parts for making it race ready now, got a fire extinguisher kit and a rain light. Will be refreshing the engine over the winter while it goes for more roll cage and thinking about having the engine bay stitch welded

Haven't updated this for a while! Nothing done too the car, bought a new personal steering wheel since mine is falling apart. Other than that just been my reliable daily driver! Went too south mimms though!

Putting my h2b eg back to standard now so I can drive that for abit while I do work to the Integra over the next few weeks hopefully!

Okay I havent keppt up too date with this at all. Since last time I updated this I have stripped the whole car down again, had more roll cage added and stitch welded the engine bay. The cage had gussets, extensions onto the engine bay shock towers, X door bars, seat rails, rear lower X etc. Also have stripped the interior some more, flocked the dash, fitted a plumbed in fire extinguisher. Got some new meister R zeta R coilovers, some hardrace adjustable arms and a few new bushes, a pair of 3' in date 5 point Luke harnesses and got some spare wheels for track days now. I'll try work through my pics now to update abit.

So in January I decided the strip the car down again and add more. I wanted the roll cage done how I should of done it first time round. The engine was coming out for abit of work like the chain, tensioner, few seals, bottom pulley so I just done the shell the same time.

Hour and a half later it's back too this.

I stripped down all the interior ready for the roll cage too be done.

And stripped back the engine bay seam sealer ready for it too be stitch welded.

The engine as I pulled it out.

And after a few days prepping it was ready too go for the cage/welding work too be sorted and then painted.
