Hi Guys,

i am swapping a b16b into my crx, but i dont have a ecu so i wanna ask if someone of you could help me out and send me a map of his b16b ecu...
i already posted in honda-tech and crxcommunity but noone could help me

i appreciate any help

thanks so far

No stock map appears to be available. Of course someone could have paid to have a map based on a b16a done bespoke, but giving that up would be pretty generous!

damn :( yeah, would a b16a map also work? i just need some map to drive home before i get my chip tuned by some people with dyno and so on

Ahh...yes. I ran my b16b on a b16a ecu. Ran crap...but ran. Mostly it was bad at idle.

You should find a map easy to find for a jdm b16a (closest match) or b18c (rich).

ohhh cool, did u also swap a b16b? or did u run it in your ek9? is it bad for the engine when i run a b16a or b18c map? can i blow it in any way?
thanks so far :)

I put the 16b in in place of an a2. Twice.

You could hurt it but its very unlikely in the short term. The c map would run rich and risk bore wash perhaps, and there is a minor chance the a map could be lean in places, though i would guess its not far off.

Why don't you just buy the right ecu(PCT) for that engine. You can buy a jumper harness to run a obd2 ecu in a car with obd1 wiring loom.

oh wow, which car did u run ur b16bs in john? an ek4?
what do you guys think about xenocron? they could do me a base map (http://www.xenocron.com/basemaps-c-23_54.html)

vtec6000, unfortunately the guys i bought the b16b from sold his ecu -.- .... and a b16b ecu is very expensive... guy who had the b16b before runned it on obd1 in his ek4 civic... so the b16b is completely on obd1
but i got an harness jumper to run obd1.. my crx is obd0 right now
