Bushell's OEM+ Nine

Yea my thoughts exactly haha. Will probs get round to doing it at some point after i have cleaned them both. Not overly fussed as they are both pretty mint :).

Thanks man

Continuing on from my last post, I have now got both seats washed and swapped the more worn seat back to the drivers side, may as well have one good one and one worn one. Whilst I had the rails of I gave them a quick rub down and a quick coat of black paint just to tidy things up a bit, also gave the interior a quick hoover whilst I had both seats out. More boring updates I know but I like clean things :)

Now the drivers seat,

Passenger seat,

Interior after a quick hoover,

Still to do the plastics, air vents and pedals amongst other small bits.

Starting to think I should invest in a decent camera and learn how to take proper pictures....sorry for the poor quality, looks a lot better on my phone

Not much of an update really, just more pictures from its last outing before the winter,

Got the seats back in,

Next to my daily :)

My brother wanted to get out the house and blow the dust of his camera so I offered to help :)

And one from @Saqib

Been thinking what I want to do with the car in terms of modifying, like what route I want to take, due to liking my creature comforts to much I have decided not to go down the ever growing track/race spec stripped out etc. I am going to set about rebuilding the car, starting with most of the suspension components, re bushing and upgrading along the way. Over the winter I hope to gather the following parts
Front drop links, inner and outer track rod ends, rear trailing arm bushes, rear lower control arms, arb d bushes, rear light seals, tyres, timing belt and tensioner, water pump, oil, oil filter and spark plugs.

Then give the car a small over haul next year.

Thanks for reading, all comments welcome :)

am eager to see where you're going with this car and if you can keep to your words of not doing 'too much' :)

I wont have much choice over the next year or so, due to starting a new job so i have little to no budget for anything mad.

Pictures are awesome. Esp the full interior ones! Plans sound good. Refresh it like it just come out the factory. I want an ek9!

Cheers. Yeah kind of mate a few subtle mods along the way hopefully though :)

That OEM look is the best! Wish I could put the OEM bonnet on :\

Seats are filthy man, get your act together....

Mega clean car man, you got a goody :) I look forward to (do I ****) helping you with the rebuild :)

Haha great attitude as always.

Hopefully have a few fun car days next year with some of the boys :) get some things checked off the list :)

You know how it is ;)

Yeah for sure man, will get something sorted :) Most of the stuff can be done in a day anyway!

Yeah hopefully, providing bolts play the game and don't seize and be a pain.

I've seen this car in person and it's properly clean. Do like your intentions of keeping it quite OEM and simple - it's pretty much what I'm planning on doing with mine. Is it off the road now for winter?

Cheers man :) i try.

Yeah its in the garage now. Not even set eyes on it since the meet at ocean terminal, may go check on it today actually

I can't fit an OEM bonnet cause previous owner chopped the bar in the middle where the catch goes onto to "aid air to the radiator" or some crap like that. So I'm stuck with this silly carbon bonnet on white car look :L

So went to see the car today, got it all set for winter, sitting on axle stands, disconnected the battery and left some rice inside to absorb any moisture. Also set about removing the resonator from the air box.

Got this done no problem. After doing so i realised that not all the bolts where there holding it in. Specifically the one bolt that goes into the chassis leg has been snapped.

Is the best way to fix this just to drill it out and re tap it?

Can you get some grips onto the end of the bolt, gaylord? If not, yeah just drill it!

No its totally gone. You will see on friday if you don't p***y out....
