Hello,
I thought after purchasing my b18c jdm swap that it would come with a speed limiter on the ecu. The ecu is obd2a so these supposedly aren't able to be tuned or have the limiter removed unless you buy a piggyback ex.:hks. I have been able to go to 130mph and had no issues of the limiter slowing me down, does anyone know what speed the limit is at and how it is possible on the ecu?

The speedlimit is about 180-190 km/h. I think its a fuel cut when the ecu gets the signal from the vehicle speed sensor.
best regards
Oliver

Yes thats what i thought around 180km/h or 112mph, but as stated I was able to go past that on an obd2a type r ecu. Does anyone know how it is possible to get the limiter removed or what company does it on the obd2 ecu?

If your speed is in mph it probably has a converter wired in to the loom before the ecu which will de limit it
