whereveriroam's EK9

Ur photos and 9 are amazing. That gearknob and shifter looks the business. How does it feel over stock?
Car is looking well mate, I was going to ask the same question ^, does it increase the throw between changes by much?

Cheers! It feels nicer than stock, got more of a slotting-it-in feel if that makes sense? I was expecting to be searching for and missing gears when I first put it on just because of the height difference and getting used to it but that wasn't the case! The throws increased due to the extra length but it's negligible. I like it being a lot closer to the steering wheel for quick shifting.

What a truly amazing car! But please loose those stickers

Thanks! They are staying put I'm afraid :))

Ahhh thats some good info. I know what you mean about the slotting in feeling. When i first got mine i was always a bit hesitant in lifting the clutch pedal as it didnt feel like i had engaged a gear but i had. Used to it now mind you :)

Cheers, I guess it's just one of those things you either like or don't.

awesome pictures! need some nice autumn ones
Thank you :) I've been hoping to get some nice Autumn shots. I always see nice photos with red and orange leaves but everything here is just dead, brown and horrible haha

Thanks man, at least take it out for a spin before deciding to get rid (and then deciding to keep it!)

Not really an update on my ride but I got a GoPro over the Christmas period so thought I'd get a couple clips together of the Spoon N1, no silly speeds ripping through the gears but you get an idea for the sound :)

This has to be one of my favourite ek9s on the site! Nice work man!

Thanks! :nice:

Havn't really done much over the winter, will get the wheels re-sprayed when the weathers a bit better. Hoping for some real updates soon rather than later!

Haven't updated this for months! Just recently forked out for new (refurbished from Honda) front calipers, refurbished (off my car) rear calipers as well as discs and pads all round after two calipers seized. Parts took ages to turn up so I didn't have the car for weeks. Also had some braided brake lines fitted at the same time as everything else. Whilst I was without my car I bought a new carbon/kevlar lip (first molding rep) which sat about for ages until I fitted it this weekend just gone and tidys up the front end as the oem lip was flaking paint and looking generally rubbish! Waiting for some mint 16" bronze Rota Fighters I bought off ebay to turn up. I really like ce28n's but can't afford them atm or justify having them for a daily and the Rotas seemed like a steal! :) A few pics!
