Spoon mirror glass help?

Sup guys, anybody here know how these spoon mirror glass replacements fit? Do they just stick straight on top of the oem glass? Any help would be great
 
My vision technica mirrors screw onto a bracket that fits inside the mirror. They should be the same as they supply spoon.

I think hes on about the blue OEM style ones spoon do rather that the aero mirrors.

If so then im fairly certain you have to remove the oem glass from the black plastic backing plate and replace it with the spoon.
 
Thanks for replies i think i dont need to do that.... Been told they just stick on top of the oem glass mate

If you read the spiel on the spoon website it says it comes with instructions anyway :nice:

Let us know because im sure you have to take the old glass out or it would look crap.
 
awh god hope not! it says on the instructions that they just go on top of oem glass i hope so.... because im not takeing my whole mirror apart and oem glass out.. lol

Oh well if thats what it says happy days mate they will know better than me lol.

Just when ive replaced the glass on other cars you have to remove the old glass. Even if you do end up swapping the glass you wont need the mirror off the glass just pulls out the housing :nice:

Hey mate,

If you are talking about the Spoon interior glass then it does indeed just stick over the OEM glass but the fitment is great!

I have one of these in my Civic, don't rely on the Sticky pad on the back, mine fell off twice though I got a replacement sent, I superglued it on and its stayed on since.
 
Cheers lads! and i got both interior and side mirrors.... so whats best glue them in? they aint cheap and if they fall out they gonna smash! fingers crossed il see what i can do once the car is back, im gonna update my members ride soon so keep an eye out lads :)
