There's a black plastic panel on the outside of the door at the edge of the door/window - would call it window sill but don't know the exact specific term for this part.
Do you happen to have one for the left side door available? Got a scratch on mine and want to replace it.
I do agree that they will deteriorate in grip level at a certain point relating to temperature.
This depends on the compound (G-GG-GGG) a little bit. I have been using the GGs so far. Considering the level of overall grip they maintain even in sessions of 30-45 minutes I think the R888s are...
If you drive normally R888s shouldn't overheat on the Ring. Zandvoort is a real tyre and braketester and there the R888s hold up really well on both my EK9 and my Elise.
R888s are master! Really like them!
Thanks! I can really recommend it. It's good fun. If you take the time to learn the track and more importantly driving a car on track it should be manageable in terms of the risks taken.
Here's another vid of me driving my EK9 on track. This time on a track day at Zandvoort. Was really pleased and pleasantly surprised on how the EK did, both handlingwise as for the laptimes.

Almost as quick as my Elise :) :win:
Thanks!
I think if it were the other way around (him driving my EK9 and me his EK4), I'd probably could have given the ITR a very hard time
:drive:
EK9 is very well balanced car by the way. Really love it. Had it on Zandvoort as well, I'll post a vid of that later. In my Elise I run...
Modifications to my EK9 were:
- Yokohama A048 on stock 15" EK9 wheels
- Fischer Hydraulik steelbraided brakelines with Comma DOT5.1
- CL RC5+ (Carbon Lorraine) brakepads
And there's a Spoon by-pass tube installed on the air intake. That's it.
Here's a vid of me in my EK9 at the Time Attack in the Netherlands on the TT Circuit of Assen. Finished 8th place with my fairly stock EK9. EK4 ahead of me is a K20A equipped (220bhp) track prepared one. Managed to get only 1 second behind that one in the final. ITR passing me at the end of the...
If someone likes another set of new Takata's, still wrapped in plastic in the original box. I've got this set which I am not going to use myself available for €350 (excl.shipment). Just send me a PM.
