Yes, I've just got 6 from Honda, all the same 10mm dismeter x 80mm long, £27.odd inc vat.

Surely, If its been painted already the laquer on top of the carbon would of been rubbed down to key the surface for the paint to bond too anyway, so it already needs re-laquering, go for it!!
