    It's completely subjective "Oh I've beaten this car with this engine and this setup, and there's no way that car could beat it" - It's all classroom nonsense. Drive both cars, see which you prefer, work on your chosen marque. No amount of words on a page are going to make you enjoy your car...

    I'd go with facelift, not only because it's the look I've always 'planned' around (always owned facelifts), but also because of the extras you get, such as the double DIN. I think the best looking pre-facelift is the SiR :)

    Nobody is saying people can't do what they like to their car - what we're saying is we're well within our rights to say it looks pants, and the people having a go at us for that, are worse than the people slating the car. We have the right to comment negatively as much as people have the right...
