lol sounds like a right nightmare, seeing cars like that just reminds me how easy it is working on the eg6
whats the dented spoon coloured car in the back? looks interesting!
Keep thinking of this more an more every day working on european crap and modern junk with engine bays crammed in tighter than your internal organs.
The Spoon ish coloured car was my mates Banger stock car. Would have been quite the car in its day. 94 Mercedes 300e 24v twin cam straight six 3.0l, even has an older form of variable cam timing, suspect much like an early Vanos. Went like stink and lasted 3 years. But died this season with electrical failures that out weighed the value of the car.
Got a few new snaps of the pulsar as it sits. I got sick of how high it was. The whole 4WD stance har har... was just not cutting it. I decided to butcher the springs as It only sits around and is only a matter of time till I get some decent suspension. Unfortunately I got carried away, cutting 1 coil didn't make faf all difference so out came the Oxy and I heated the springs to make them sag. Worked great to lower it but unfortunately I could never trust a set of heated and sagged springs. So new suspension has moved up the priority list on the car haha. I had a few sets of wheels knocking about so thought I would try some.
First off nothing special, think they are calibers. 17x7
I had set of BBS RgII/ Opens for sale a while back as they just didn't suit anything. I tried them on the car a good while ago but they just didn't gell. Gold is not my thing, Not keen on things that bling and stand out to much.
But then once I found out how rare they were and how bloody light they are at only 5.6kg as a 16". I thought might try them again since lowering. Much more suited. Think I will just get them re coloured at later date in a gunmetal colour of some sort.
