Does the b18 crank fit into it ok. never seen that done before.
Well that's an interesting collection of parts. It was def a B20 block but that is a new one to us if it has a B18C crank.
Has it got a "girdle" hound 2, 3 n 4 main bearings? If not I have one I was going to put up for sale soon.
When your builder puts it back together be sure to use high comp head gasket eg Spoon.
So will it be back together quickly or are we talking months?
All the best Dunx
this is not the first time alot of peaple have put b18c cranks in to b20's so it revs up higher, an it brings it down to 1.9
nothing wrong with regrinding a B18 crank, when i built my engine, had the mains reground 0.25 and all journals including rod journals micropolished and it's been spot on! of course depends on how good the machine shop are and how bad the crank is (couple of extremely minor scores on mine, no spun bearings)
a new B18 crank will sting you at least 800 quid, believe the work on my crank cost about 150 iirc which included having it balanced

Same dyno.
Eurospec's dyno is very honest, its a good thing.
