EG6 Vs. F430

guy in the f430 cant drive. On the straights you could see the effortless power of the 430 pulling away from the eg.

eg handled really well in the corners though.

the advantages of knowing the track.... still a nice vid.

Was the f430 driver trying?? still a good vid though, eg6 sounded ace :nice:

decent driver in the civic, nervous driver in the 430, either that or some maaaajor sand bagging

Nervous? Maybe a bit cautious. I wouldnt want to bin a Rari. Eg seemed to take the corners well and the drivers seems to know his way around a track. As said thought Effortless power from the ferrari to pull away.

Hahaha, good driving from the EG6 owner, but that F430 was pussyfooting, he obviously was very nervous. Funny just how many car lengths he pulled INSTANTLY on the straights. Daaaam quick car that Scuderia.

if thats a trackday the guy in the eg6 should be shot.. theres just no need for that kind of sillyness the guy in the ferrari was probably scared to brake in case he got a civic shaped rear bumper ornament.

The F430 is clearly not trying, it's also a F430 Challenge as well so lighter and slightly more powerful than your average 430. Plus, it's got trickier suspension and bigger brakes as well and almost certainly race spec tyres. Pretty good driving from the Civic driver though.

Its a bloody trackday mate, that's what their for........

Every person that goes on track with their car, be it a Ferrari or a Robin Reliant 3 wheeler know the risks and the dangers and their taking the risks upon themselves, whatever happens.

So if hes that worried about the civic slamming into the arse end of him.....he shouldn't be on the track. Obviously if some one just slams the pedal to the metal and slams straight into you on purpose to cause damage/harm thats a different matter, but accidental bangs on track are going to happen.......its not a kiddies play ground!

Simple as that.

a civic would have no chance in the right hands. love the civic tho...

Nah, I don't expect to be rear ended on a track-day, I expect the person behind me to slow down and wait to pass. It's not a race.

Accidents might happen, but tail-gating someone like it's a race isn't an accident and isn't usually tolerated on a trackday.

right so that kind of behaviour is allowed at track days??? i think not! trackdays aren't a race if thats what you want to do, go get your ards license and compete. trackdays aren't a place for risking someone elses car just becuase you want to show how fast your own car is. and i'm fairly sure i won't be alone on this.

the guy in the 430 should have saved some money bought a lesser car and had a few driving lessons .

That civic looks fast :) About that close driving, thing is different rules apply for different countries/tracks. Here in the UK its more strict than others.
