Anything to say about football(soccer)?


MLS all the way! I support the LA Galaxy! Is there a gayer name for a futbol team then the Galaxy? You stupid Brits even have us David Beckham! The gr8est player since Pele! OLE... OLE, OLE, OLE! PS - I'm not calling all Brits stupid. Just the ones that have away David Beckham.

MLS?? Excuse me but, we are talking about football and not bull-football! :nerv: Unfortunately, even though you have invested lots of money to improve a sport that has not been high in US rankings, there is no quality in your league simply because americans don't have soccer in their DNA. And when quality is missing, players just play harsh and.......pretty nice raisors you have there..:D....So you sign those few big names coming from europe to add some quality but that's not enough to make it attractive to the rest of the world.

And btw, Beckham is just a good player, the best player ever played the game has been Pele. Beckham, having no speed and dribble, he cannot be listed not even in the top 100 of all time....

Even though Panathinaikos is our biggest rival like Rangers - Celtic hate each other (unfortunately fans still stab each other on the streets :() , I felt really bad for PAO's ellimination because Greece needs desperately points this year to recover the lost positions in the UEFA Rankings(currently 14th :angry: whereas 6th in the near past)

The game was in PAO's hands, played really well for 3 halves over two legs and ruined everything in the last half when he stayed back to defend the 1-0 advantage easily kept up to that moment....

Anyway, at least Olympiakos drew 0-0 Chelsea and I'm sure we will make the rematch a big game like all of our away matches this year so far(Lazio - Olympiakos 1-2, Werder - Olympiakos 1-3, and Real Madrid - Olympiakos 4-2)

We are the only team left out of 6 participating in European cups, PAO, AEK, Panionios, Larissa, and Aris are gone :angry2:
 
Manosek9- I think Chlesea will only just squeeze through,

its gonna be a game to watch though as Olympiakos are dangerous away,:)
 
I really don't like very much football, but like to watch good goals.
For me the best goals come from Cristano Ronaldo amazing portuguese player.
 
Stamford Bridge re-match was the worst game and performance in Europe for Olympiakos this season. We appeared on the pitch without the usual good passing game, no passion, tragic first half........tempo raised after half-time after the substitutions, some very good chances to score but it was too late.

Players knew before the match that they had to perform 110% to get something from the second leg but it seems it was only in words......

Fair win for Chelsea and is one of the biggest favorites winning the Ch. League this season.

As for Rangers in UEFA Cup, I think 2-0 is a very strong result for the second leg but it will be hard to keep Bremen away from goal(s) at Weser Stadium. We won 3-1 away and 3-0 at home in group stage against Werder :p

Celtic? McGeady, McGeady and......McGeady. I hope to see him going to Barca this summer!
 
i'm a liverpool fan meself, they aint playin too good lately tho:(

I support Liverpool too but this team i think has lost too much ground over the years compared to the other three who have more financial resources and stronger structure starting from the root

I just can't see how Liverpool can win a championship in the near future :(
