I was wodering if it is ok to run supertech springs and retainers with skunk2 pro 1?
People recommend to run skunk2 pro springs and retainers, but I think I can get similar or equal performance with a supertech set.
Here is some useful info:

I talked to Skunk2 about running those springs and retainers. They said it will be fine having stiffer then they recommend. I asked about additional wear and they said stiffer springs are naturally going to have more wear but it isn't anything to stress over.
The valve to valve clearance was the main thing they stressed. If you are running more the .5mm over then you really need to check the clearances before running these cams.
What do you guys think? tuners help!!i personally ran the heavy supertech springs with pro 1's and my exhaust cam ate my rockers...others have gotten away with it though...personally id run the sk2 springs if i was to do it all over
