k20a in corsa shell

You have too much time and money if you even consider putting that engine in a Corsa. You'll make a useless car even more useless. It'll be a waste of time and money and I doubt it'll even fit without some serious fabrication, you'd need custom mounts, driveshafts at least and a whole load of other things.

if u saay so i'm still going to do it. its some thing i want to try so i well find out the hard way ok with u

I 100% agree with this but....... Fair play matey lol IF you can get it right then it will be a cool little car... Just don't chav it up too much yea!

only haves gsi kit on it. gsi wheels and some slipstreams if i get bored of the gsi ones not to chav

How do you plan to get such high bhp out of a k20 ? I'm not being funny but even if you did the car would fall to pieces when you put you foot down.

Yeah mate I know your only 16 so I'll let you off.. Lol
but I'm with most of these guys
400 bhp?
What is it like £5000 for a K20 and then what were you planning to put in to for that bhp
and then all the custom part you will need
complete waste of time mate !!!
Sorry if I'm being mean :)

It's at leasy 5-6k to put a K20 in a Civic. Let alone a Corsa, for which you'll need customs shafts, custom mounts etc. So, even though I would have respect for the custom work you would do, it's completely insane in terms of cost. On top of that will be the costs of turbo'ing the K20. Will probably all add up to more than 10k.

^ exacty !
It would be far cheaper and far more awesome to do a propper turbo build on an EK9 !!

What is the point of that m8? That chassis you are talking doesn't handle that abuse of power.
Try to make a balanced car not a freak beast.

WOW

Best bet would be to stick a C20LET in a corsa, seen a few make about 300bhp and the conversion is reasonably straight forward in the right hands, you can buy shafts, hubs, mounts etc off the shelf for this swap.

As said in posts already the cost would be massive to put a K20 in a corsa shell, loads of custom parts etc

anything is possible with enough skill and knowhow and determination, the only question is, why would you bother!!

if you were going to do an interesting K20A conversion why not fit on einto a kitcar or a mini or something, not a bloody corsa,,

and as for saying you want to swap one in and have it at 4 - 500 horsepower just to prove something, i dont know what point your trying to make, but say bye bye to say 25 to 30 thousand to do it properly, thats porsche 911 turbo money!!

400-500hp in a corsa? How would you even be able to use all that much power? You won't be able to get all that power down to the ground.

i remember redline or one of the english magizines featured a 2L turbo corsa once no idea what engine they used though might be helpful

Can't believe you guys are taking this dude seriously..it's clearly not going to happen!

fair play to you if you do it. But have you ever drivin a corsa? they have the handling qualities of a shopping trolley, they're all over the place. which is ok for a cheap runabout but to spend that much money and time making a k20'd corsa you sir are MAD! :wow: but best of luck!
