I think the VSS only sends a generic signal, the cluster I think converts to mph/kpm. Please correct me if I am incorrect. If I am correct you ahve more to choose from.

Re: ek9 gearbox vehicle speed sensor km/h

i bought a jdm ek9, but although the cluster reads in kph the needle is reading in mph. So when the needle is on 60 kph, i will be going 60 mph. When i opened the hood and saw the vss, i saw that the 3 wires are joined with sliders, if you know what i mean. sorry for my english, and thanks

Your cluster may have been converted to MPH from KPH.

That is what I understood.
You need a VSS of which Honda only makes one which is KPH, the converter adjusts to MPH for markets that need MPH. So get your hands on any VSS that fits your tranny, no need to be concerned about MPH/KPH at the VSS level.

Re: ek9 gearbox vehicle speed sensor km/h

All the VSS' are the same, so it must have a converter fitted somewhere, either on the back of the cluster, or in the wiring at the VSS plug

that is true, otherwise, if there would be a different VSS gear for mph and kmh the LSD's must have been done with two different VSS rings wchich drive the VSS gear.
