What does use on your tires
Hi lads. For a while now i have been in search for a good back to black tire shine. The best i know is the turtle wax but 8/9 euro for a bottle.(far too expensive) The one i use is the lidl tire care. It makes the tire black but does not give a good shine. Does anyone know if there is another sorta oil based product that i could use that would have the same effect as tire shine?
So what i would like to know is what product do you use, what would you recommend?

Comes out really nice and shiny but if you have white wheels wash the wheel after application!! I made that mistake once on my OE wheels, i got to the meet and my wheels were black!

Auto glym instant tyre dressing
Best stuff imo, ususally i -wash and dry the wheel and face of tyre -spray it round the tyre -leave all the white spray to dry in -gently wipe with cloth (prevents any excess coating your wheels black) Jobs a gid een!

Re: What does use on your tires
expect to pay 20 to 30 euro for the right stuff
or you can use johnstones baby oil if you dont want to spend more than 3 euro

Re: What does use on your tires
SMARTWAX imo is best for the job.
in fact all of my cleaning products are smartwax. SmartGel™ - Trim, Tire & Hard Plastic Restorer u can also buy a special sponge-like aplicater which makes the job really easy, gives a great finish, and actually lasts a week of two unlike everything else iv tried. it can also be used of any plastics of rubbers. and is available in the u.k, jut search for retailers. i reccoment their whole range!! |
