gear ratios ek9

can anybody tell me what the gear ratios are on a 97 model ek9 1st to 5th cheers

the 4.4 is stock ratios,if you plan on upgrading the final drive then your options are either a 4.78 or a 4.9,the 4.9 will be very very short and lower top speed a little

These are the gear ratio's for an ek9 ,there exctally the same as an ek4 vti but on the ek9 gearbox has dual syncrhos on 2nd 3rd and 4th gears and it has race bearings

cheers would anybody no if the 4.7 final drive from the itr fit the mfactory close ratio gear kit i ask as it says on there website not for a 98 itr

I believe the oem 4.78FD works with MF shorter gears 3,4 & 5. But if you wanted to use the MF longer first gear you would need to use the MF 4.78FD.
