Not got one but might be worth knowing that a EJ9 1.4 civic gearbox will fit also so if you find one of those goin cheap

Dont mean to take over the thread but I have an ej9 and want to get a better gearbox would one outta an ek3 be abetter ratio? Also does that mean that a clutch will fit from a d15 to a d14?

ej9 gearbox is shorter that ek3. If you want to go faster pick that. The ek3 gearbox is matched to the vtec-e engine for ultimate fuel economy. Any d-series gearbox will match (5 and 6 gen civics).
