Clutch master cylinder

When i put my foot on the clutch it squeakes and feels Knotchey
I think the clutch master cylinder has seen better days . Has anyone else had this and is it a hard job ? I have had the clutch fluid changed and it didnt help

I changed both my slave and master, not too hard at all

So The master cylinder is attached to the front of the Gearbox . Where is the slave cylinder ?

The slave is the one attached the front of the gearbox, the master is the one you put your clutch fluid in

you can also upgrade your clutch line to SS while your in there

Good plan I am going to do that as well . I think it is just the Slave making the noise , I may try this first before the Master cylinder . Going to make sure i get this fixed next week

Good luck, the SS line firms up the pedal a bit and quickens the clutch engagement

Make sure, of course, that you're only replacing the rubber line near the slave with a braided stainless one. To replace the hard lines with braided ones is a downgrade.
