Hey,

I have searched and got back many results which Are all different and I am looking for a solid 100% deffinate answer

My friend is selling a set of Tein coilovers, I like the feel of them, I know they have been well kept and best of all he isn't asking the earth for them

I am pretty sure that DC's and EG's share a lot of parts but I don't know about the EK's

Thanks for Any help

dc shocks wont fit on the back of an EK

ek shocks are forked at the bottom were they bolt to the control arms

whereas DC2 shock have a cicle with a hole in it , mainly called ''eye'' fitment

Thanks guys! Just as I thought with the rear LCA setup but it's not exactly the end of the world.

Will function 7 lcas be my only answer? Could I not take some EG or DC LCAs and use them?

Thanks again.

no you got to get Function 7, but there is 1 other brand out there also

front works fine.
You need rear lca matching to lower shock mount.
if its fork, then its 50mm wide, and 96 civic has 40mm - 2x 5mm washers are needed and your fine.
if its eye, You need EK9 lca or F7 that are mentioned before.
