Is spoon sports ecu safe to run on my new b18c6 conversion??

Hi guys, just got a b18c6 for my eg6. Basically was wondering will I be okay to run my spoon ecu safe with that engine. I did get the p73 itr ecu with the engine but obviously my car is obd1 and it doesn't fit and carnt find any harness obd1 to obd2. I also seen a p28 on ebay mapped for b18c6 with intake and exhaust mods so that was in my mind to. Am stuck any help would be much appreciated.

The mapped p28 would probably be your best bet but it's always better to get it mapped to your engine as soon as you can.
 
there is a talk about spoon ecu in this forum,if i remember correct someone contacted spoon directly and they replied me him that the ecu is made for 100 octane gasoline.

so i believe not having a 100 gas will be a problem.
 
Cheers for the help lads. My spoon ecu was for the eg6 so didnt dare try it. I got a p28 htune ecu for £110 mapped for b18c6, exhaust mods and intake mods so will probably work out better for me rather than spending £125 on a harness to fit the itr ecu. Plus the p28 ecu will be ideal for mapping :) .
