SELLING MY EK4
3500 pound
car is a dark blue coulor almost near purple.
pictures wil show this
I have owned the car for 1 year now and it has been modified with longlivety in mind. It has got full service history and has only just covered 60,000 miles literally yesterday.
This car has no crashes no bangs no creaks no nothing it is perfect to drive.
The wheels have been balanced and laser aligned.
To be honest i think it is running around 170 Clean bhp
Rev limit is 8400rpm and vtec cuts in Aggresively at 5400rpm
CAR: 1997 EK4 Vti UK spec.
which means it has factory leather seat and has a sunroof along with electric mirrors and windows.
When i serviced it i upgraded every part ready for further tuning.
Engine: B16a2
Engine has had a full engine flush. clean as a whistle
Splitfire twin core HT ignition leads
Denso iridium sparks - these were nearly £20 a plug
Hamp oil filter with new Engine oil and gearbox oil.
Throttle body was given a good clean
Open air filter ( don't know the brand but it does the job )
Aluminium Spark cover in Blue.
Buddy club racing Radiator cap rated at 1.3 Bar, honda standard is 1.1 Bar
Buddy club racing Oil cap
Spoon resevoir covers
All Air intake box's and tubes have been removed so there is loads of air flow in the engine.
NRG engine tourque damper - NOT FITTED
Suspension:
5 Original 5 spoke Vti alloys.
4 on the car have brand new Toyo Proxes T1-R's fitted ( these have covered 200 miles ) fitted 13/06/09 , the spare has a goodyear nct.
Lowered 30mm on Koni springs
Energy - suspension Rear trailing arm bushes
EBC green stuff pads at the rear
Ferodo DS pads at the front ( these are such an upgrade from standard )
Tenzo-R Rear lower tie bar - NOT FITTED
I also have the original springs.
Exhuast:
Mugen Twin loop back box - These are now £700 new
I wil throw in the original back box as well.
Exterior:
De-badged so it only says Vtec on the tailgate.
4600K Bi -Xenon HID's installed (low beam and hi beam) Adjustable in the car. this is the brightest white light the human eye can see. none of that cheap blue look just pure pure WHITE - Ballast's mounted in the front bumper and out of sight, all wires tucked where possible.
EK9 style front grille.
Japanese style UK LEGAL front and rear plates.
Interior:
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Factory Electric sunroof
Factory leather seats in dark grey very slight rip in driver seat
Interior is all standard and black
Genuine type r gear knob
Alpine head unit with MP3 playback.
Infiniti 6*9's in original place
Fly 6" front speaker iin original place
JBL 400 watt amp powering
Infiniti 10" subwoofer ( these speakers compliment each other so well i am a musician so i know when things sound right and to be honest it is proof it is a well built car as there are no rattles or rumbles from the car even when the sub is ear splittingly loud )
little things have gone wrong over the year all have been replaced instantly with honda parts or upgraded aftermarket parts
- rear anti roll bar drop link ( due to the fitment of the upgraded bushes in the rear trailing arms ) - £15 fitted
- rear right caliper seized - £45 fitted
The drivers seat has a slight wear patch on the left hand side ( pics will show ) and a slight rip in the middle of the seat
to be honest i was going to get this fixed but you sit on it so can't see it, plus i wanted to get some recaros for it.
and that is all that has gone wrong i know i am amazed at this car it is so clean and is perfect for someone wanting to tune it right up or simply drive it at the moment with mods to compliment the civic's engine and chassis perfectly.
