1999 - 2000 EK9 Honda Civic Type R - OBD2B to OBD2A Ecu Installation How to

The ecu we're installing is a OBD2A N1 EK9 Civic Type R ECU. The 1999 - 2000 EK9 Honda Civic Type R has a OBD2B ecu.

So for this installation we will need a OBD2B to OBD2A conversion harness.

This how to also applies to apexi power fc since all of them are OBD2A.

Make sure your battery is not connected just in case! :blinx:

Ok, now lets plug the OBD2B to OBD2A conversion harness :blinx:

:nerv: open obd2a ecu

Ok, lets remove the screws on the plastics on the passenger side, and we will see the OBD2B ecu!

Unplug all the cables

Now lets install the ecu, you can use some tape to hold well the OBD2A conversion harness, so you can fit the plastic cover!

Does anybody know what Integra Type R ecu is OBD2B?

ok i understand that you need a obd2b to obd2a covershion , but do i use my 99 engine harness what about the harness plugs an missing plugs an wires
