MFactory Gear Calculator
Hey,
How accurate is this calculator? I only ask I was thinking about getting a 4.785FD for me EK9; was just comparing them to stock on the graph and my revs seem to exactly match the 4.785FD? My car reads : 3k 3rd = 30mph 4k 4th = 40mph 2.3k 5th = 40mph 3k 5th = 50mph 4.1k = 70mph 4.7k = 80mph Car was RR'd when it just had a Mugen CAI and rest was stock @ 167bhp - which is about spot on I think? so don't think it's down on power. What else could it be? (i'm only scepticle as Dunk didn't mention anything when I bought it and I guess he's driven enough EK9's to know what they feel like stock or not!) |

Re: MFactory Gear Calculator
Yup, seems like you are already running the 4.785 FD in your tranny

Re: MFactory Gear Calculator
195/50/15 - stock are 195/55 ? so am I correct in thinking this is only going to make my speedo overread slightly if anything? (or have I got my maths the wrong way round?!)

Re: MFactory Gear Calculator
your tire size is fine, that is a very minor difference. You should be seeing 4400-4600rpm max at 80mph and thats if your gauge cluster is not that accurate which is usually the case for the non-ek9 clusters.
