My new ride!!!

I recently bought a 1997 (R plated) EK4.

Bought it from a dealer in Rotherham, South Yorkshire called R&Z Motors.

Very good service from them and the guy even fitted a new clutch the day before I picked it up as it had just started to slip.

I had nearly 300 miles to drive back home. It would have been fine, but he did the work for me anyway.

The car has only had 1 previous owner and R&Z motors hand pick their cars from main dealers most of the time with 1 or 2 owners.

Mine came from a Honda dealership.

Cannot fault the car in anyway, other than a few stone chips to front bumper and bonnet. But saying that, it is 11 years old now. It's to be expected.

Anyway....the cars colour is Cyprus Green Pearl and it is totally standard. (For now )

Heres is some pictures for you all!!!

1st up...the alloys (For Sale soon if anyone wants them. I have 5 of them).

Now we have the car in polish....

Re: My new ride!!!

Indeed.

It has just turned 107k.

The engine is the B16a2 with 158bhp as standard from factory.

It's going on the rollers soon before any mods are done.

Yes Adee...I have an idea about the wheels. I'll PM you!

And no...I only used about 1/4 bottle of Autoglym super resin polish.

Worked well hey. lol

Re: My new ride!!!

Hey mate, did you say Cyprus Green Pearl? I come from Cyprus but never heart of a color taking my country's name! Are you sure it's called like this or just Green Pearl?

Re: My new ride!!!

LOL.

It's actually spelt like this...Cypress Green Pearl Clearcoat. The code is G-82P and was on the Honda Civic from 1996-1998

I forgot how it was spelt, so I just spelled it Cyprus. lol

Here is a list of all Civic colours from 1988.

Re: My new ride!!!

To avoid sunlight stress you mean?

It was sunny when I washed the car, but when I came to polishing it the sun had moved over and the car was pretty much not in its direct line, so it was all good.

Since that day, we have had terrible down pours and stupidly high winds.

The car hasn't been driven since then and is shit high already.

Roll on the weekend and good weather and I'll do it all over again. hehe
