obd2a to obd1 help

ive got the p30 ecu to replace my p28 and the conversion harness but when plugged in the code 22 pops up, which is vtec solenoid. nout wrong with it as with the p28 everything operates as it should. any ideas?

car is an ek4

What was wrong with your P28?
Does this P30 have Hondata in it?
Is your car an Import?
