Grease/dust caps

Hi all,

This may be a bit of a stupid question.............

My new rear hub/bearing assembly arrived today, when I come to fit them, will I have to put the dust cap back on over the nut? I actually took them off not too long before the bearings went, would this be the cause of them going?

im needing same question guys waiting on my hubs and wundering if i need to get grease caps for them was told thats how they have went

i would think tat tat would have been your prob!

dust cap keeps durt out and grease in lad!
