that is insanely cool sam i was close to buying a mk4 r32 in black a while back only problem i found was fuel costs but all round its great car to drive my dad has owned numerous vws over the years inc a mk5 which was class quite fancy an edition 30 next summer

It's hard to compare the two, their completely different cars. the 4wd and lots of torque make them very fun to drive.

Only 70 indigo blue R32's were made for the UK market

It's very comfortable, even being that low. Far more practical as a daily.
Handling is superb, engine note is insane. Heated seats keep my bum toasty during these cold winter months.

Like I said I'm a VW enthusiast at heart and the ek9 was a stepping stone until I could afford to buy and insure an R32.

So slightly biased.

240 BHP standard, looking to get it remapped so should see a healthy 260-65
Also a supercharger has come up for a reasonable price local to me so could see 350+
