Re: what this this Sign mean £???
Sorry but I'm not from any european contry therefore I only know $ which is what we use here in the USA... it was just a random question as I am now able to buy things oversees and so i could convert the £ to $ I would have to know what £ meant. And the prime minister as of June 7th 2007 is Gordon Brown, and no i didnt use google, i used wikipedia lol

You do realise that there are other countries apart from the USA, and therefore other currencies.
Sorry to sound like a dick but seriously dude...

Re: what this this Sign mean £???
Cut him some slack. He's from Jersey
Just messing with ya dude. I'm sure there are plenty of people from other countries unfamiliar with the GBP sign as well I'm sure some don't recognize the Euro sign as well.I don't know any statistics of passports, but I don't have one. No need until I feel like leaving the country. Due to the vast size of the US compared to European countries, Americans don't leave the US as often as y'all leave your countries. Going from state to state in the US is equivalent to going from country to country in Europe only no Passport required for that. It was frickin 15 hour drive to Orlando, Florida from where I am (and I had to suffer that drive in a piece of shit Chevy HHR) Also, I would like to know if y'all off the top of your heads can come up with a general equivalent figure from USD to GBP or Euro. I can hear an amount in GBP, Yen, or Euro and can make a general estimate of what the USD amount would be or vice versa. Not everyone else really gives a shit to learn it just like Kasanova here never learned the GBP sign at all. You have to remember, like he said, the GBP sign is not common around here (notice I'm not even using it, cause it's not on our keyboards) so naturally some people won't recognize it though they may actually know what GBP is.
