Hello from the states! Black and Yellow EK9
Hello, I found this site while searching for some Max Racing fenders (interesting
Anyway thought I would join and meet some other EK9 enthusiasts. I currently have 2 Japanese EK9's in California. Heres some pics and some specs! Enjoy ![]() First up my black '98 CTR. I bought the rolling chassis from a local importer and swapped in a '98 Spec B18C(R), and added some black DC2 seats with vision rails. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The second is my yellow '00 CTR I bought the rolling chassis from the same importer. Swapped on a '98 spec DC2 5 lug, and dropped a '06 K20z1 engine. The swap only had 3000 miles when I got it. I pulled the transmission apart and installed a Mugen LSD. DC5 Type R clutch and flywheel. The engine itself is basically stock with the exception of a race header, 3" exhaust and K-pro ecu. It put down 225whp and 158tq. As far as suspension I'm using cusco coil overs, spoon calipers, 16x7 spoon sw388's (+35 front +45 rear) , full sway bars, lower tie bars, etc... The exterior is fitted with a Air Walker front bumper, J's Racing fenders, VIS CF hood, Cusco GT Spoiler, RCrew front splitter... and now for the pics! Hwy5 ![]() ![]() ![]() On the way to the track! Yes thats MPH ![]() ![]() At the track ![]() ![]()

Damn!! How much did you pick them up for? How did you go about registering them? Also what are max fenders? And what kind of shift knob is on the black car?
p.s. you posted a few of the same pics twice

Re: Hello from the states! Black and Yellow EK9
Yeah, I'm selling both right now. Moving, and I dont have a garage to store them in anymore. Any anyone from CA knows you cant park cars like these on the street for more than 5 mins lol.
About the pics hehe my computer kept freezing when I was trying to wright the original thread, so I tried to get it all written in a hurry. Yes both chassis were purchased from N1. I'm into the black one for about $15k + registration. And into the yellow car for around $25k Max Racing are the fenders on Leonard's candy pink EK
