New to Honda old to VW

Hi I am Alex and I am new to Honda's, I have a few friends with FN2, DC2, DC5 and EP3's

I have been speaking to Darren at Torque GT about importing a EK9 RX that I am very excited about :)

I am use to VW's I have had MK1 golf, Mk1 Caddy, Mk2 Golf, Mk3 Golf, Polo 6n, Polo 6n2 Polo G40, Polo GTI.

I am your man when it comes to old VW's but know nothing about anything else but I am sure you lovely people will help guide me :)

Nice to have another new face here. I have imported over 150 ek9's and have a VW Polo G40 in totally stock condition :) Handles like a boat compared to a ek9.

Lovely! I do like the G40's, but cant wait for a EK9, I have a nice 12 mile back road commute to work so I am sure I will arrive smiling every day.

I dont have any real plans for the EK9 as we all say when we get a new car.. but I am sure that that will change shortly haha.

Soooooo good news! I won a EK9 Facelift on Thursday last week after 3 months of waiting and bidding on 6 cars in Japan, I only have the two pictures from auction at the moment but should get some more next week when they get it back to the yard.
Needless to say I am very excited and cant wait for it to be in the UK.

The car is in the shipping yard in Japan and is going on the boat on Friday and should be in the UK mid May :)
And we all know how much pictures are needed sooo here you go bit dirty but nothing a bit of elbow grease cant sort out :)

Like you say a bit of work and it will be perfect. Shouldn't need to worry about rust either

Oh I am over the moon regarding the pictures, it is loads cleaner than I expected.

I dont have many plans at the moment, just get here back to me, clean her up and enjoy the summer.
I have a few mods in mind but I want to get use to the natural feel of the EK9 then mod to what i would like to improve :)
