Hi. :nice:

Here are a few pictures of my 1998 Racebase EK9 I picked up from Lloyd (natune) just after Christmas.

It's almost original at the minute with 118,000kms but I'm beginning to collect parts so have started a build to keep track of my progress and give you something to read.

The EK9 will be a demo car for MTS Garage so please give it a like on Facebook.

Thanks.

I love that it doesn't have tints too.

I'm on the lookout for some wheels, think I may have better luck sourcing some from Yahoo.

Love this clean and simple great base to work out for track congrats man!!!

That is great, but I'd have to change the wheels & seats. At that point you'd just have well bought a standard EK9.

Still, cool to have something different!

Your right but there wasn't many in this condition available, and this one had the benefit of no PS, ABS ect.

I've had it weighed at a local weight bridge to get a figure before anything changes.

1/2 tank of fuel with full interior (spare, jack ect.)

1050kg.

That's a good starting point, I'd imagine getting some lighter wheels & seats will help even further.

You could probably get it down to 1000kg with the removal of some more bits and bobs that you don't need in a track car.

It will have wheels soon as I find some I like.

I picked up a new backbox a few weeks ago.

Gave it a polish and fitted it today.

A little louder than stock and looks nicer but I'm going to pull it off I think and go for something custom.

brilliant exhaust, a friend has one on his B18 Ek4 - not to overtop just a subtle bit of extra noise!

It was one of the most OEM and cleanest ek9's I imported. Nice to see its been so well cared for uptill now.
All the best with it, Dunx
